Smallfilms is a British company that made animated television programmes for children, from 1959 to the 1980s.

Smallfilms was originally a partnership between Oliver Postgate (writer, animator and narrator) and Peter Firmin (modelmaker and illustrator), producing a number of very popular short film series using stop-motion animation.

Hits included The ClangersNoggin the Nog, and Ivor the Engine. Another Smallfilms production, Bagpuss, came top of a BBC poll to find the favourite children's programme of all time.
